Premios Oscar 2024 dan a conocer a sus primeros nominados
La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas, este jueves 21 de diciembre dio a conocer la lista de los primeros nominados en sus categorías a los premios Oscar que se realizarán el 10 de marzo de 2024.
Cabe mencionar, a poco de celebrarse las fiestas navideñas y fin de año realizaron el anuncio de los preseleccionados entre ellos se encuentran las franquicias de Barbie, Maestro, Oppenheimer, Poor Things y otros.
Es más, las primeras categorías que dieron a conocer están el Largometraje Documental, Cortometraje Documental, Largometraje Internacional, Maquillaje y Peluquería, Música (partitura original), Música (partitura original), Canción, Cortometraje de animación, Cortometraje de acción real, Sonido y Efectos visuales.
Asimismo, para el proceso de las votaciones se llevará a cabo entre el 11 y 16 de enero de 2024, mientras que las nominaciones oficiales serán presentadas el 23 de ese mismo mes. Las votaciones finales se harán del 22 al 27 de febrero.

Colossal Biosciences logró revivir al lobo terrible, extinto hace 12,500 años, mediante edición genética y clonación. Tres cachorros, Rómulo, Remo y Khaleesi, nacieron en una reserva segura, siendo el primer caso de desextinción exitosa.
El lobo terrible inspiró a los huargos de Game of Thrones. Era un depredador grande, con mandíbulas fuertes y pelaje espeso. Colossal utilizó ADN antiguo para alterar genes de lobos grises y crear una especie híbrida similar al original.
Colossal ha trabajado en resucitar especies como el mamut y el tigre de Tasmania desde 2021. El éxito con el lobo terrible demuestra la efectividad de su tecnología de desextinción, según Ben Lamm, CEO de la empresa.
Los cachorros viven en una reserva de 809 hectáreas con medidas de seguridad avanzadas, incluyendo drones y cámaras. La instalación está certificada por la Sociedad Americana Protectora de Animales y registrada en el Departamento de Agricultura de EE.UU.
